From the Desk of the President...

Dear MAWD Members and Workforce Development Professionalism,

As I conclude my term as President and step into the role of Past-President, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. Serving in this role has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my professional journey—filled with growth, purpose, and connections that have left a lasting impact on me both personally and professionally.

The work we do together matters, and it’s been a true privilege to lead an organization made up of such passionate, dedicated, and forward-thinking professionals. Your commitment to the shared mission is what makes MAWD such a strong and inspiring community.

This past year has brought challenges, progress, and momentum. Through it all, your support and engagement have been the foundation of everything we’ve accomplished. I am especially grateful for the friendships and collaborations that have grown along the way.

I’m excited to continue supporting MAWD’s vision and to witness the incredible things to come as Donna takes on this leadership role. I have every confidence in her ability to guide the organization forward with vision, purpose, and strength.

Thank you, again, for the opportunity to serve. It has truly been an honor.

Samantha Terry
