Scholarships

Missouri Association for Workforce Development is accepting applications for college and skilled trades scholarships for MAWD members, their spouse or their children who are seeking post secondary training or degrees.

Application Criteria and Eligibility:  

This $1,500 scholarship is for MAWD members, their spouse or children. You must be a MAWD member in good standing for 2 consecutive years. You must submit a 1 page or less justification for the course of study and future occupational goal. You must have a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and a 3.25 GPA on a 5.0 scale, or for a first time student, a letter of acceptance. The education institution must be approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. You will need a transcript from high school or the educational institution you are attending.

Scholarship recipients will be recognized during the 2022 Annual Conference, April 28, 2022.  Applications must be submitted to Tracy Polk at tpolk@springfieldmo.gov no later than March 15, 2022
